While we hope you enjoy your time having a beer or two with us, if you are visiting Liverpool there is so much to see and do, we thought we would make some suggestions.

We would stay at Dixie Dean Hotel centrally located and a great base to explore the city.

After breakfast a walk around William Brown Street and visit the Walker Art Gallery, World Museum and no visit would be complete without seeing the reading room in Central Library. Wander down Dale Street where you will see many pubs – ideal for a pub crawl later on!

Visit the Town Hall, and Castle Street a host of bars and restaurants if you can get in Salt House Bacaro has the most delicious Italian small plates, or if you fancy something lighter head to Castros a Spanish/Canary Island influenced tapas and boccadillos, you are welcome to bring the food they serve in to the Denbigh Castle.

The afternoon could be spent visiting Liverpool One shopping or for more things to do Liverpool War Museum – Western Approaches – Britain’s Top secret underground war bunker or head to the 360 Viewing Area in the world famous Royal Liver Building.

We would eat in the evening in Silk Road and enjoy food and drinks that can be found along the route that ran from the Pacific of East China through to the Med.

Drinks in the evening – as we mentioned Dale Street is a hive of pubs with something for everyone – if Beer is your favourite, we would suggest The Ship and Mitre, Excelsior Pub and the Dead Crafty Beer Company.

If its music then look no further than to Cavern Club.
